Galaxy69 – Dragonfly by Kim Syberg

Galaxy69 – Dragonfly by Kim Syberg

Galaxy69 is a personal tinker project, aimed at exploring workflows and techniques. It’s also a homage to classic sci-fi – everything from the campy to the artful.

The Monolith S.F.I. Dragonfly is primarily designed for charting new worlds, equipped with jets for atmospheric flight as well as rockets for interplanetary travel (although range here is limited). It has no weapons but extensive sensor arrays and surface scanners, and analysis is handled by Monolith’s own 9000 series EW system.

Primary inspirations have been 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apollo program, and vintage planes/cars.
